Set along a golden hillside beneath a canopy of oaks, this 1,200 square-foot ADU was designed as a quiet, soulful retreat for a grandmother entering her next season of life. She envisioned something rooted and real—California farmhouse with a sense of ease, not artifice. We honored that vision with a palette drawn from the land: limestone, zellige, weathered woods, and linen-wrapped upholstery. Every element was chosen with care—soft underfoot for small pups, intuitive in flow for visits from granddaughters. A home that lives gently and ages gracefully, just like its owner.
